Thank you for letting me use the [JAS] braces. They have helped me when I was told I may never walk again. These braces made it possible and I’m one step closer to being back on the soccer field again.

This gain in extension has reduced the spasticity in both legs, making bed-to-wheelchair transfers and all my daily activities much easier. In fact I have gained enough flexibility to transfer from the floor again, a critical ability in the event of a fall, a necessity for independence.

The results from using this brace could not have been achieved with any other device. My leg was 8 degrees away from straight and – after 7 weeks of use, I – am now at 1 degree away. These last few degrees should be easy to achieve over the next few months with a subtle exercise.
