I had a total knee replacement 5 years ago and two follow-up surgeries to clean out scar tissue relating to the TKR. Traditional physical therapy (which I followed religiously) did not help; the active movement from physical therapy caused more trauma to the area, resulting in more scar tissue. After visiting several specialists, an ortho finally recommended the JAS knee flexion device. The results from the passive flexion (versus active flexion) are unparalleled. I highly recommend this device to anyone with similar scar tissue in any joint. I have to use this device long term due to my condition, and JAS has replaced various components on several occasions without question or charge. I wish I would have known about JAS and this device after the first TKR and could have avoided 5 very painful years of ongoing therapy.
