March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. More than 5.3 million Americans are living with brain injury-related disabilities at a cost exceeding $76.5 billion (in 2010 dollars) each year. Brain injuries often cause issues that JAS treats directly, like contractures, loss of motor function due to muscle weakness, and spasticity.

Kathy Kleinik has been solving JAS mysteries for the past 8 years. Technically, she works in the billing department, but she may as well be a Private Investigator due to her invaluable skill at revealing and resolving discrepancies and inconsistencies related to billing and claims.

Pam Reeder has been a part of the Joint Active Systems (JAS) family for 15 years. She spent the first 8 years of her career assembling devices in our manufacturing facility, where she gained knowledge of each device, their features, and how they work to improve patient quality of life.

Dan Willenborg has been a part of the JAS family for over 5 years. He does everything from maintaining and repairing shop equipment, building devices, changing light bulbs, and even assisting team members with jump-starting their vehicles.
